Association of Energy Engineers
AEE is an industry source for information on the dynamic field of energy efficiency, utility deregulation, facility management, plant engineering, and environmental compliance.  AEE’s objective is to assist in educating through shared resources in the lighting industry.
 
Federal Energy Management Program
The Department of Energy's Federal Energy Management Program works to reduce the cost and environmental impact of the Federal government by advancing energy efficiency and water conservation, promoting the use of distributed and renewable energy, and improving utility management decisions at Federal sites.
 
Rebuild America
Rebuild America is a growing network of community-driven voluntary partnerships that foster energy efficiency and renewable energy in commercial, government and public-housing buildings. At the federal level, it is the largest, most established technology deployment program within DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). The program’s goals are to: conserve energy, accelerate use of the best energy technologies, save money, reduce air pollution, lower U.S. reliance on energy imports, help revitalize aging city and town neighborhoods, and create “smart energy” jobs.
 
National Association of Energy Service Companies
NAESCO promotes the education of and implementation of cost effective energy efficient technologies that create tangible economic value for end users.  NAESCO is a support group for energy service companies that promotes performance contracting.

NAESCO Accredited Energy Efficient Contractor (EEC)StonesRiver Companies is the first contractor to fulfill the stringent requirements to qualify as an EEC with NAESCO. 

DOE/DOD Approved StonesRiver Companies is listed as an approved energy contractor for the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense.

InterNational Association of Lighting Management Companies (NALMCO) Certifications  StonesRiver Companies’ lighting technicians are certified (CALT or CSLT) through the NALMCO organization.  In addition, our management staff includes four Certified Lighting Management Consultants (CLMC), which is the highest certification offer by NALMCO.

National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professionals (NCQLP) – Stones River Companies’ Vice President of Operations has achieved the Lighting Certified (LC) designation from the NCQLP.  This designation is considered the highest level of expertise in the lighting industry.

Environmental Protection Agency Dirt Depreciation Study – Light Incorporated was one of ten companies invited to participate in this study for the EPA. Please visit IES website to participate in this study for the EPA.

Music City “Hall of Fame” – In 1997, after winning the Music City Future 50 Award for 5 years consecutively, Stones River Electric was inducted into the Music City “Hall of Fame” by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.  This award was given to companies in the Nashville area who demonstrate tremendous growth.   

“25 for Tomorrow” – Stones River Electric was listed by Nashville Business as one of Nashville’s 25 fastest growing companies.

5th Largest Electrical Construction Company – Nashville Business Journal listed Stones River Electric as Middle Tennessee’s fifth largest electrical construction company in 2001.

Top 20 Largest Woman-owned Business – Nashville Business Journal annually recognized Stones River Electric as one of the 20 Largest Woman-owned Businesses in Middle Tennessee.

2004/2005 Woman Business Owner of the Year - It is an honor and pleasure to share with our clients that the National Association of Woman Business Owners (NAWBO) has recognized Jami Hall, President of StonesRiver Companies, by presenting her with the 2004 Woman Business Owners of the Year Award. Every two years NAWBO recognizes women entrepreneurs who have actively advocated for business issues integral to the success of women owned businesses.
