Customer Profile:

Southern Stores operates 95+ Blockbuster locations in Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama, Texas, and South Carolina.  Light Incorporated monitors their exterior and interior lighting, as well as awnings and signage through a night inspection program called Night Watch.  Visibility and image are their primary concerns regarding their lighting and sign maintenance.

Project Objective:

Light Incorporated implemented a Night Watch program to address each of our customer’s issues.  We monitor 50 Blockbuster locations for any outages.  Any outages are recorded and then repaired.  Once the repairs are complete, each location’s file is updated with the action taken, which will create a history of maintenance.  This maintenance record assists in budget preparation and helps to identify areas of concern before more extensive repairs are required.  Light Incorporated technicians are certified through the international Association of Lighting Management Companies (NALMCO), which insures that the highest level of expertise and knowledgeable professionals are maintaining their lighting and sign systems.

Results:

Maintenance of lighting and signs is no longer a worry of management personnel.  The Night Watch program provided a more professional image, as well as a safe and secure feeling for its customers no matter what time they visit the store.  Light Incorporated has maintained consistent light color and quality throughout the various locations in the program, which give each store a unified appearance.
